Rihanna’s new show Styled To Rock promises big stars including Cheryl, The Saturdays and Katy Perry

Rihanna’s new show Styled To Rock promises big stars including Cheryl, The Saturdays and Katy Perry
Rihanna has teamed up with singer Nicola Roberts, British designer Henry Holland and stylist Lysa Cooper to create new TV show, Styled To Rock. With a whole host of celebs, strained emotions and stiff competition, we think it’s going to be a good one.
Imagine The Apprentice, but with Rihanna as Alan Sugar, two Karen Brady’s, a well dressed Nick Hewer and a whole host of up-and-coming fashion designers.
And a whole lot of sewing and stitching

Running order

Nicola promises to put the contestants through their paces

Twelve of the best unknown British designers – hand-picked by the Bajan beauty herself - will compete over 12 grueling weeks, which will see them working their crafty little fingers to the bone. The designers will have to create and make outfits for different artists for a variety of high profile occasions, including on stage performances and photoshoots.
The winner will get the chance to design a stage outfit for RiRi’s upcoming London concert.
The What’s My Name singer is an executive producer on the show and will be involved, in much of the competition. In a knock out process, mentors Nicola, Henry and Lysa work closely with the designers before helping to decide who is going home.
Guest judges for the show are reported to include Cheryl Cole, The Saturdays, Pixie Lott and Katy Perry.

Get the daggers out!

Henry knows what he's talking about when it comes to style

Speaking to heat, House of Holland creator, Henry said that fireworks can be expected throughout the show.
“There are a lot of fights amongst us- we were all really passionate about the whole process and the designs themselves – when there was somebody that had to go home every week, we didn’t always agree”
Nothing better than a good televised squabble we say.

Working with the “Icon”

It’ll be one of the first times that we’ve seen Rihanna in front of the cameras – and we cannot wait to see what she comes out with. ,
“What you see is what you get with her, there’s no PR machine behind that, that’s who she is and she’s not going to be apologetic,” Henry told heat.
Lysa, having worked with RiRi for a fair few years now, also mentioned how Rihanna had changed, and that you could now see her really finding her feet.
“You can sense that there isn’t fear, you can sense that she’s starting to really come into her own.”
