Taylor Swift and John Mayer haven’t dated for two years, which is basically a lifetime - and ten marriages for a Kardashian – in celebrity world, but things are still mega awk, a recent bump-into at a Hollywood bar has proved.
According to the New York Post, the ex-couple found themselves about to be seated next to each other at West Hollywood hot spot Tower Bar, when 22-year-old Taylor stepped in and promptly asked to be seated elsewere.
To be fair to them both, things were going to be awkward after country megastar Taylor wrote the hit song Dear John about player Mayer, 34. And then when he hit back saying he was “humiliated”.
Mayer told Rolling Stone this week that Swift’s song “Dear John,” reportedly about him, was not only "a really lousy thing" to do but also "cheap songwriting" and "bullsh*t".

On the single, from Swift’s 2010 album Speak Now, he told the magazine he "didn’t deserve it. I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that."
And maybe Taylor just felt really awkward about making loads of money from a song that included the lyrical accusation: ‘All the girls that you've run dry have tired, lifeless eyes, 'Cause you've burned them out.’ Ouchy.
