Nice work GaGa!
And to celebrate this impressive milestone, Lady Gaga immediately tweeted her ‘little monsters’ to express her gratitude.
“#25milliontweetymonsters wow! I'm officially feeling like the luckiest girl in the world today.”
Lady Gaga, or mother monster as she’s known to her barrage of devoted fans, hit the 25 million mark yesterday.
The Born This Way singer is the most followed Twitter user in the whole twitterverse, with her nearest competitor Justin Bieber more than 2.5 million followers behind her with 22.5 million.
Also in the top ten most followed people on Twitter, are Katy Perry: 20.4 million, Barack Obama: 16.1 million, Kim Kardashian: 14.8 million and Nicki Minaj: 12.2 million.
Indonesia is NOT going gaga for GaGa
Sadly her plethora of little monsters couldn't help her when she got into a spot of bother this week. She was forced to cancel a gig in Indonesia after Islamic groups blasted Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, for her sexually explicit shows, saucy outfits and provocative dance routines.
The groups threatened violence after expressing the view that Lady Gaga performing in Indonesia would corrupt the nation’s youth.
She took to Twitter – of course – to express her sadness at having to cancel the gig.
“We had to cancel the concert in Indonesia,” she tweeted.
“I'm so very sorry to the fans & [I am] just as devastated as you if not more. You are everything to me
