Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been hospitalised after getting involved in a car crash.
Lindsay was reportedly driving her black Porsche along the Pacific Coast Highway when she collided with an 18-wheeler vehicle. The star ‘totalled’ the car, the passenger window is said to be shattered and the rear bumper ripped away from the vehicle.
25-year-old Lindsay is then said to have been rushed to an LA hospital and taken to the emergency room where she is reportedly still being treated. The star was taken along with her assistant who is believed to have been in the car with her at the time.
Witnesses described the incident as “bad” but claim that the actress “seems okay”. A source says, “I just spoke to her, she’s doing fine”, but her assistant is said to have suffered some bleeding and bruises.
Lindsay is working on new Lifetime movie Liz & Dick, embarking on her comeback career by starring in a tale which documents the love affair between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. The star has been trying to get on the straight and narrow after a rough few years in which she was accused of theft and was involved in a very public spat with her father Michael Lohan.
The vehicle that Lindsay was driving at the time of crash is reported to not be the star’s own, but a rental. We just hope that all involved make a swift recovery.
