It's not unusual for pop stars to get involved in theatre and stage work. Heck, singer's are even bringing out their own films these days. So, it's no surprise that Cheryl Cole thinks that a Girls Aloud musical would be just as amazing.
In recent interview, the Call My Name singer was asked whether she thinks a Girls Aloud musical would be a good idea. To which the singer replied,
"That would be amazing! That would be funny. I can't imagine myself... Kimberley would be amazing because she's a theatre veteran now...It would be pretty amazing that someone could play those parts in the theatre. That would really be a compliment, I think."
The Spice Girls' upcoming musical Viva Forever is tipped to be a huge success, and Cheryl thinks that a similar production for the girls would be a "compliment" to the band.
We suppose former group member Kimberley Walsh's recent stint in the Shrek musical means she already has a fair bit of experience, but would the other girls be up for it?
We've always been a big fan of Girls Aloud, it's music that has helped us through both break-ups and make-ups, and we're eagerly awaiting a reunion. But what do you Heatworld citizens think? Would a Girls Aloud musical be successful?
