We still haven’t given up hope that one day David Beckham and Victoria Beckham will move back to the UK, but it’s looking increasingly likely they’ll stay in the US.
Boo.
Speaking at a lunch to honour legends from David’s football team LA Galaxy, the father of four admitted that his family are happy in their adopted home, and that the media attention on the children is far less intrusive in the States than in Europe.
“The kids are a number one priority and for the last five years they have been -incredibly happy here,” The Mirror reports.
“They go to school and are treated like normal kids, whereas maybe in Europe it’s been different for us. The attention we had there as a family and on our kids was a lot more intense. For the kids to be brought up around this atmosphere and this way of living is the most important thing.”

It’s only more intense over here because we all love you so much! Please come back? Ah, go on? Then again who’d want to swap sunny LA for the dreariness of the UK.
