Xtra Factor presenter and short-shorts obsessive Caroline Flack is said to be "relieved" following the arrest of a man who has allegedly been stalking her.
For the past three months, it is believed a 39-year-old man kept on turning up to where Caroline would be working, trying to give her gifts and touch her. He is on bail awaiting further questioning next month.
According to The Mirror's source: "It's been a pretty stressful past few weeks for Caroline. "But now the police are involved, she hopes the matter will soon be resolved and she can move on with her life." The stalker allegedly sent Caroline letters before turning up to the Manchester leg of The X Factor auditions, and then he followed her Twitter updates to gauge where she would be, before turning up!
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest: "A 39-year-old man was arrested and questioned, and has been bailed until mid-August pending further investigation." Oh dear, Caroline. We hope you feel safer now!
This isn't the first case of X Factor stalking - Simon Cowell was shocked to find superfan Leanne Zaloumis had broken into his London home after smashing his bathroom window. She pleaded guilty to damaging property last week, and is on bail, cannot contact Simon or go within 300ft of his home. She's also got a tag.
Oh dear! Maybe ITV need to start doing X Factor re-runs, so these fans can get their celebrity fix another way!?
