Congratulations are in order for Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Scott Disick who have welcomed their first daughter into the world.
Kourtney gave birth to baby Penelope Scotland (what’s that now?) Disick, who weighed a healthy 7lb 4oz, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA yesterday.
Kourtney broke the exciting news to E this morning.
“Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives”
“We are forever blessed. Mummy and baby are resting comfortably.”
Kourtney and Scott already have a son, Mason, 2.
Sister Kim also broke the news of the little one’s arrival via her Celebuzz page, saying: “Welcome to the world, Penelope Scotland Disick! Kourtney gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter on Sunday and the whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her! She is absolutely perfect! I am so excited to be an aunt again and can’t wait to spoil little Penelope. I know Mason is going to be the best big brother in the whole world. Congratulations Kourtney and Scott. Xo”
According to Kourtney's mum Kris, her daughter had a natural birth and added: “It was a great. She had an easy delivery.
“[Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She's so beautiful. We are so happy.”
Will we get to see Penelope’s birth on TV?
When Mason was born, the couple decided to show his birth on the family's TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
But during an appearance on the Tonight Show a couple of weeks ago, Kourtney said they hadn't decided whether they would do the same for Penelope’s arrival.
“We're going to film it again ourselves, and honestly, my experience last time was so peaceful and calm and everything you don't see in the movies.
“And I really wanted to share that with people so they knew it doesn't have to be a crazy screaming session.”
