It's been a tough year for Demi Moore. The actress endured a very public break-up with ex-husband Ashton Kutcher back in November 2011, and now her kids are reportedly shunning her in a bid to stay out of her life, which has become fuelled by drama.
Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 18 are the children of Demi and her ex-husband Bruce Willis, and all are said to have cut themselves off from the actress who a source claims has plunged into despair and chaotic behaviour following her recent divorce. The close family friend says,
"Rumer, Scout and Tallulah just don't want to deal with the drama at the moment. Since breaking up with Ashton, Demi has been a mess. The girls were there for her through it all -- the split and the rehab but now they just feel like they need a little distance."
The source continued that the girls daughters especially are sick of feeling as though Demi is their older sister just looking for a shoulder to cry on, and are craving the stability their mother used to offer. They went on to say,
"Demi is just being very needy right now, and the girls are tired of it; they want a mother not another little sister. They are all concerned that she is going to relapse and head back to rehab and they can't deal with the stress and worry of it."
All of Demi's kids seemed to love Ashton, with Rumer even inviting the Two and a Half Men actor to her singing debut in March. Even Tallulah asked Ashton to attend her graduation, but chose not to invite her mother, who turned up anyway which caused friction amongst the family as the source also revealed,
"None of the girls wanted Demi there, but she turned up anyway and it was really strained. They had a huge fight afterwards, and the girls decided it would be in their best interests to take a break from Demi for a while."
