One kooky popstress we wouldn't to mess with is the very eccentric, Lady Gaga. So, we imagine fellow singer Carly Rae Jepsen is quaking in her stylish boots after receiving a Tweet warning from the star. Either that, or she's extremely flattered.
Gaga reigned supreme with the record of the most weeks with a single at #1 with her smash hit track Born This Way. However, Carly's infectious debut single Call Me Maybe pipped Gaga's number one record spot. Upon hearing the news, Gaga tweeted,
'@carlyraejepsen I SEE you just swooped in and broke my BORN THIS WAY record of the most weeks at #1. DON’T GET COMFORTABLE I’M COMING FOR YOU.'
Call Me Baby has cemented itself in the #1 spot for a seventh week, beating Born This Way, which managed to stay in #1 position for six weeks.
Still, we doubt Gaga is too phased about Carly taking the record, as she's about to add acting to her CV by starring in Robert Rodriguez's upcoming film, Machete Kills. When the singer isn't writing new material she's playing unheard tracks to fans from an SUV in a New York car park, working with new producers or, you know, taking nudey photos at sleepovers with Lindsay Lohan
