Michael Jackson’s mum Katherine has been found, after granddaughter Paris said that she was missing.
The teenager tweeted: “yes , my grandmother is missing . i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now .”
She added: “if anybody sees my grandmother , please call the authorities or this number— (818)-876-0186 it's the security number .. thank you so much”
Finally, she continued: “the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother... just saying”
Katherine was named as the legal guardian of all of Michael’s children, Paris, Prince and Blanket. But there have recently been disputes over the late star’s will because he his mum and his three children are the only three people named to receive the millions of dollars from his estate. According to the MailOnline, other family members believed that the will had been faked following Michael’s death.
Although the dispute over the will is far from over, at least 82-year-old Katherine has been found and is alive and well. Michael’s older brother Jermaine Jackson – you’ll remember him from Celebrity Big Brother – has released a statement to say so.
He tweeted: “Mother is safe and well in Arizona with her daughter and our sister, Rebbie, resting up on doctor's advice, so it is beyond me how she can be reported "missing"
He added: “Furthermore, it dismays me that such an alarmist ‘missing person’ report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michael's children who will understandably react to what they misunderstand, hear or are told.”
Hmm. Pretty spooky. The missing person’s report was filed by Katherine’s nephew Trent, after he heard from Michael’s kids that they hadn’t seen their grandma in a week.
